These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HotelXray Chrome extension, website, account, alerts, and optional Pro subscription (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using HotelXray, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What HotelXray is

HotelXray is a personal, informational companion for Hyatt travelers. It presents availability and pricing information in a more convenient layout, calculates derived metrics such as cents-per-point, publishes researched club lounge summaries, and can monitor selected hotels and dates for alert conditions. It does not book, hold, or reserve anything on your behalf, and it does not log in to or act on any Hyatt account.

Informational use only — verify before you book

HotelXray is provided for general informational and convenience purposes only. Award availability, points prices, cash rates, taxes and fees, Suite Upgrade Award eligibility, cents-per-point, currency conversions, club lounge details, and all other information shown may be incomplete, delayed, out of date, or incorrect.

Always confirm rates, availability, fees, eligibility, and lounge operations directly with Hyatt or the hotel before making any booking or travel decision. Do not rely on HotelXray as the sole basis for any purchase, reservation, or financial decision. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information shown by the Service.

Alerts

Alerts are a best-effort monitoring service, not a reservation or availability guarantee. Check intervals describe our intended monitoring cadence, but checks or emails may be delayed or missed because of Hyatt changes, service outages, stale data, email delivery problems, or other circumstances. Availability can disappear before you act. You remain responsible for verifying and completing any booking directly with Hyatt.

Accounts

An account is not required for the core extension, but it is required for alerts, referrals, and Pro. You are responsible for providing an email address you control and for activity under your session. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or sign-in session has been accessed without permission.

Free and Pro plans

The core extension and a limited number of alerts are available without charge. Pro is an optional recurring subscription that increases alert limits and adds advanced alert features. Current features, limits, prices, and billing periods are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable billing interval until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your HotelXray account. Unless otherwise stated at cancellation, Pro access continues through the end of the paid billing period.

To request a refund, contact [email protected]. Refund requests are reviewed individually and do not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

Your responsibilities

HotelXray is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree to use it only in a manner consistent with its purpose as a personal browsing companion. You agree not to use the extension to systematically harvest, scrape, resell, or redistribute data, or in any way that would place an unreasonable load on, disrupt, or interfere with any third-party website or service.

Your use of Hyatt's website remains subject to Hyatt's own terms of service and policies. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any third-party website, including through or alongside HotelXray, complies with that website's terms. HotelXray is an independent tool and does not grant you any rights in or to Hyatt's services.

No affiliation with Hyatt

HotelXray is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. "Hyatt," "World of Hyatt," and all related names, marks, and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the website with which the extension works (nominative use). All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

No warranty

HotelXray is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or that it will continue to function if a third-party website changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HotelXray and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of bookings, points, money, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the extension, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes, and your continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy

Your use of HotelXray is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how the extension, accounts, alerts, and billing features handle information.
